I really enjoyed the main character, Tessa Esposito, along with her cousins, Gino and Gabby. The crime solving trio are working on a case regarding the death of “Santa”, a new resident of the town whom no one seems to like. I did not guess the killer so it was a surprise ending for me. I can not wait to return to this small town to see what happens next.

Sweet Mountain, Georgia features the Jane Doe Book Club lead by Lyla Moody and her friends who are fascinated with true crime. Crime becomes too close for comfort when a murder occurs in the home of Lyla’s parents. This is not an open and shut case as there are many with motives to kill the victim. The characters in this book were interesting and relatable. I look forward to reading more of this series.
