It took me a while to get into this book it’s a little slow at the start and I have a hard time getting into 3rd person books anyways. It really needs to grab my attention and keep it for me to enjoy a 3rd person book and this book did that. It’s not a new premise by any means but it was good and well executed in my opinion I’m excited to read the other books and see where it takes Faythe and her friends

I liked this book a lot more then I thought I would. It’s been sitting on my shelf for a long time and finally decided to pick it up. The ending had no right to make me cry like that. I loved the premise and the elves and magic system. Overall a good read!

I was very disappointed with this book the story line has so much potential but this book just feels like a filler book and that it didn’t really need to happen. The “plot twist” if you could call it that was very predictable. The over use of the words “mate” and “nub” made me very uncomfy. Adara became a whiny little bitch in this book. Even with Evren and all his friends working with her and showing her who he truly is she still fought him and complained then out of no where just decided she couldn’t live with out him and to give in to everything he was asking of her. All Adara did the whole book was hop skip and jump to conclusions about everything and anything without any thought at all

Short and quick read to get you out of a reading slump. I like the idea of the book and thought it had great potential I would have liked to see more plot development instead of just the same thing over and again. I loved Evren at the beginning right up until he just stood there and watched Gavril feed from her and did nothing to stop him. And all the lies and secrets I get he’s just met Adara and doesn’t owe her anything but she feels like she can trust him and he just blatantly broke her trust. And then again when they were attacked by the blood court. He could have just told her I understand why he didn’t. I really hope he redeems himself in the next book he has so much potential for the morally grey bad boy we all love
