I just finished this novel and I enjoyed the characters but the story was a bit confusing. I wanted more from the story but enjoyed the main character Blue and started enjoying the characters Adam and Noah. I got The Outsiders vibes while reading this book but I think after finishing this series I may be done reading Maggie Stiefvater because I did read her other series Shiver and couldn't get into it.

This story keeps getting better and better with each book. The plot twist at the end was good. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

So far every ShadowHunter book in the series I have read I am eating up. In this story it is about Alec and Magnus' story. I enjoyed the characters and where the story was going. The only thing I wished we had more on was Alec and Magnus' relationship considering the story is supposed to be about them.

This story was so magical and the vibes were everything. I definitely got the visual of Studio Ghibli and Howl's Moving Castle with magical portal doors. Clara reminded me of Sophia and Xavier reminded me of Howl with being from a magical family and secrets. I would recommend this book if you enjoy a nice magical cozy book with Howl's Moving Castle vibes.

This book was a great witchy book for middle graders. Seven, Thorn, and Valley were great characters to read about. I enjoyed Seven's little brother Beefy a lot cause it reminds me of my own children where my daughter is older then my son. I love the idea of friendship and feeling belonging is a great story point. I also found out that this book is based off an area in New York which is where I live so my daughter will find that neat as well.

This story was a great mix between Casper and The Sixth Sense. Cass's adventure in Scotland was a great reading experience and enjoyed it on vacation visiting my family

Wow.. The beginning got me with new information from the first book. The middle got a bit boring but was needed to get to the goal of the mission and the ending of the book I can understand why most people need the third book right afterwards.
