1st re-read:
This book has my heart yet again. The main male character had my trust 50/50 through out the book literally until the book but the re-read he melts my heart. The dragons in this book makes me so determined to find other dragon books to read next year that I have my eyes on to read.
1st read:
Let me just start out by saying it started out as a young adult writing but then goes into high fantasy. I enjoyed the storyline very much and when we got to the interaction with the dragons I was sold. I got Divergent vibes with magic. The spice was nice and wanting to know more on what was going to happen. Once I finished the story I literally said "I need the second book this second" just to read more.

I enjoyed this paranormal romance between Ox and Joe. The only thing I wish was changed was the length of the book because it felt like it could have been taken care of sooner.
I enjoyed the story of Grant and Ben with the rose wish curse. I enjoyed how the author shows us how we often feel like destiny changes ourselves when in reality we had the answers all along.
I enjoyed this story of Hades and Persephone. In case you don't know Hades or Persephone I will give you some background of them. Hades is the god of the dead and Persephone is the goddess of spring. In this story Persephone is going to college and interning at a newspaper business as a journalist. One day her friend Lexa was able to get them into Nevernight which is Hades nightclub and Persephone was able to meet Hades and got tricked into making a deal with the god of the dead. Throughout the story it is about figuring out how to get out of the deal with Hades and Persephone debating on her feelings about him. Darlings you bet I am going to continue the series.
I enjoyed hearing about the characters again from Legends & Lattes but I felt like Legends & Lattes was more put together with the story compared to the prequel.
This book had me when I was introduced to our assistant a talking magically sentient spider plant called Caz. The main character Kiela is a librarian that takes care of magical books. In the beginning of the book it starts off with having to leave the library that Kiela and Caz called home for over a decade because the library was set on fire when the revolution began. This a very magical cozy read that makes you want to cuddle with a hot drink and read the story until the end.
I understand the hype completely with this series and just barely did not cry with that ending.
I enjoyed the main characters and the trails but the pacing of the story felt too rushed to me.
