The back portion of this book had me everywhere with emotions. Almost a five star for me such a great series to get sucked into.
I actually didn't mind this story at all. In this story it focuses on Georgie and Vektal. The premise around this series is that human females are abducted from aliens from their beds to be sold to other aliens in the universe. The spaceship unfortunately starts having engine problems and has to drop off the human cargo on a snowy planet to survive until they come back for them. Georgie says she would rather get out of the spaceship and find help then stay there to wait for the aliens that abducted them to come back. Georgie adventures out to the unknown planet and finds Vektal. The story gets even more interesting from there. Look up triggering warnings and if you don't like interspecies relationships this series is not for you.
Loved the banter and curious to read the next book in the series.
This book teleported me back to high school with my first relationship and not realizing what I know now that communicating together is the most important thing to do in a relationship with anyone but what can one do when your a junior in high school thinking things will stay the same until you realize differently when you graduate from high school. This story touched on so many things and would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys second chance romance with wanting a self positive image that nothing is to late to change.
I really enjoyed the main character Rin and where the story led us to considering I kept getting Mulan vibes with the main character trying to prove herself worthy to fight and to not be looked down upon. I am curious to see how the rest of the story goes but definitely be mindful of trigger warnings.
