The Games were exciting but the book overall did suffer from "middle book syndrome". It's so common for authors to forget the second book in a trilogy has to actually have its own story arc and not just be a stepping stone to the third book.

I really liked Naomi's story and would have preferred if this was a single POV book. Her journey to discover her culture was lovely to read. Dev sucked however.
