I was a little disappointed with this novel. I was expecting more laugh-out-loud humour. The story line was quite entertaining, just not what I've come to expect from Christopher Moore's other howlingly funny novels. Nonetheless, I move on to another one of his, because I'm confident that this might have been a fluke, pardon the pun....

My most treasured book. This is the one book I travel with (paperback edition of course). To have all those plays and sonnets at your fingertips, it's utterly fantastic.

This was a great, light read. I learned a fair amount about the Pearl Harbour attacks, and it was a great love story as well. Would read again.
