A complete understanding of where the biggest band on earth came from. NB: Their original name for the band was Feedback.
So, after having my car window tapped on by who I initially thought was a stranger, but turned out to be a girl I went to highschool, this girl had asked me to turn of my idling car since I was in my parking spot reading a newspaper. This got me thinking more about my carbon footprint, which then prompted me to purchase this book. What an awesome book! I had no idea of all the ways I'm already helping to save the planet, and there are even more easy ways to make changes that I had no idea about!
An amazing tale of survival and courage. Of course, I was crying uncontrollably at some parts. A good book will do that to me.
Yet another book that caused me to weep. The entire time I wasreading this story, I was fully expecting the tiger to start talking to the boy. I was slightly disappointed when none of the animals were talking animals. THAT would have been amazing!!
The best book i've ever read, bar NONE! You'll be laughing out loud while enjoying this satire on one ofthe greatest stories ever recorded.
How this novel rings true! It was like I was reading about my experience working as a nanny in Sydney, except the posh apartment was replaced by a posh house in the suburbs. Incredible, I couldn't put it down!
For all those who want to understand what's it's been like for aperson like me of mixed race, READ THIS! You'll have a much better grasp of the subtle racism and bull shit biracial folks deal with on a day to day basis. And he's Canadian.
Oh my goodness. This books is ridiculously funny! My gut was hurting because of how hard I laughed while reading it!! Great gift for someone who's open-minded and can look at sex and drugs in a comical way.
An intense read, but enlightening. Compassionate and witty, this story of courage and survival is proof that sometimes hope is enough to survive the madness.
