Very accessible read, I was expecting a more academic style, but it reads very much like a self-help book for someone who often diets, with the requisite repetition of concepts/phrases.

Was disappointed that altered/incorrect body/hunger cues due to illness weren't addressed, but overall important information and a good explanation of epidemiological concepts/flaws in weight research.

Picked this up as it's been the #1 banned/challenged book in the US for the past 3 years.

A very sweet story about a transgender girl's beginning the coming out process over 1-2 weeks with a school play as the backdrop. While I'm sure it's great for trans youth to connect to, I think it's a more important read for the future Kelly's of the world (George's best friend).
