Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this book! I haven’t heard anything about the authors who wrote this, but it was a good book. I was confused at times and had to reread some pages, but it was easy to understand. The plot was good, and so were the characters but there were quite a few povs that made it hard to remember who’s pov I as reading. I really liked the FMC, and the fact that it was a cop FMC as I haven’t read many books like that but I’d deffo read more like this one. The title was the main reason I requested this arc as it sounded intriguing. I would recommend this book to ppl who like more of a mystery book instead of a thriller book or a mystery-thriller book.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me this arc! This book was set in Ancient Greece while we followed our FMC on her new journey, and it was a really good journey. We got to see some characters we know really well from Greek Mythology, and how our FMC worked with them so she could follow the prophecy she had discovered that was about her. Her growth was amazing, and we saw her grow in confidence and her growing as a person. I did not expect what happened in the last few chapters, and I already need book 2 to come out as this one was so good. I ended up giving the book 4.5 stars, which I was not expecting as the book started off a bit slow but the pace picked up so fast. If anyone is a fan of Greek Mythology retellings, then I highly recommend giving this book a try as it was so worth the read and my rating!!

This book is the traditionally published version of the fan fic 'Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love by isthisselfcare' who is the author of this book. I haven't read the fan fic yet, but this book is AMAZING which is why I gave it 4.75 stars and I cannot wait to read the fan fic version.

The two MC's were so interesting to read about, and their development was amazing. The way they interacted and communicated was so interesting, and the way the MMC described his feelings for her made my heart so full. I loved the other characters that popped up throughout the book, and the plot was pure perfection. You can definitely tell that the MMC and FMC were like Hermione and Draco with how they are described and how they act and I wish they were real people. I am definitely getting a physical copy of the book to re-read and annotate once it comes out officially.
