I love this series!! This is the sequel to The God and the Gumiho by Sophie Kim (seriously, this series is awesome. Go read this first one if you haven't already). I was SO stoked to get this as an ARC!

This is a murder mystery on a cruise ship in the Underworld, what could be better?! Oh yeah, add your reincarnated fated love being dead and having no memory of you. Hijinks ensue... This was a whole lot of fun based around Korean mythology. I absolutely love broadening my mythology horizons and this did not disappoint!

I highly recommend this series if you haven't read it yet! Seriously, so good! I got the original in my Fairyloot box and I've already preordered this sequel for a physical copy. Oops... 😊

Thanks @netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!

This was a really unique fantasy novel. I LOVED the setting of this book. The idea of a world split into different parts on top of one another? So cool! I like how they were interconnected but not at the same time. Each part of the world had a uniqueness to it as well. Super cool setting!

The storyline, just like Axie Oh's The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea (SO GOOD, by the way), was a good mix of interesting plot with beautiful writing. I love the way Axie Oh writes. The character development was also *chefs kiss.

I highly recommend Axie Oh's young adult fantasy novels! They're both so good! I'm really looking forward to the sequel to this one! Thanks to @netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
