I love this series by Katharine Schellman. I love a good historical mystery. They're such good cozy mysteries for me. If I'm going to read a mystery, it's got to be light and fluffy. The world is scary enough as it is haha.
This is the 5th book is the Lily Adler series and it's a great continuation of the story from the previous 4 books. We finally get a little romance in this one too! I was swooning over Jack in this one!! I highly recommend if you've loved the rest of the series. If you haven't read the rest of the series, what are you doing?! Go read the first one!! It's called The Body in the Garden.
Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!

What an ending to this duology! I've never read any books about sirens before, but this duology has me frothing at the mouth for me. Anybody got any other siren recs for me?!
I will say, the ending of this book did feel a little rushed for me. Don't get me wrong, I loved the ending! But I wanted a little bit more detail and I wanted it to last a little bit longer.
I really enjoyed the relationships that evolved in this book. Especially the rebuilding of the friendship between Saoirse and Carrik. At first, I was like HECK NO, because how could he?! But watching Saoirse herself grow was beautiful to watch unfold on the page and it felt very natural.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a badass female main character because Saoirse is the epitome of that trope! Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
