Listen, I am calling it now that this book (& the second) will be my top fantasy reads of the year. I was drawn in immediately to the Hunger Games-esque plot.

The biggest takeaway: RAIHN IS EVERYTHING. I love him.

The world-building, the plot, the characters, just everything about this book did not disappoint and it was the perfect, bingeable fantasy romance.

I cannot WAIT to binge the second book and see where the story goes.

A paranormal, witchy, second-chance romance in the middle of April is just what I needed. I love Aria and Owen and the chemistry between them. This was such a fun, light read that draws you in with magic and keeps you in with the tension and the mystery behind curses and witchy happenings. And BOTH MCs are bisexual, which I don't think we see very often in books, so I loved that representation. and the cat side character was PERFECTION.
