This book made me so frustrated through 90% of it... But in a good way! I related way too hard to the main teacher in the book, and there were stakes and problems that I see all the time as a teacher. I really ended up enjoying it

I actually much preferred this book over the first one. I'm excited to follow up with reading the third in November.

The characters and story were completely charming - and dare I say, cheesy?

This was a wonderful introduction to Tessa Dare and the historical romance genre as a whole. Excited to read more of this series.

I'm not much of a poetry reader, but I enjoyed reading this for my local bookstore's reading challenge!

Not my favorite King novel.

I might have cried. I might also read it to my fifth graders as my next distance learning read aloud.
