I hate when I accidentally pick up Christian fiction off a library display. It's always conceptually has an interesting plot, but the actual writing and characters are always seem weak and forced. I liked this one okay for what it was (interesting plot, lame characters, and forced Jesus conversations and Christian morals). Honestly, I'm only giving it three stars (versus two) because I legit cackled when her ex-husband was in the car wreck. CACKLED.

It didn't hit as hard as the first one did for me, but it was a good sequel! I loved the Harry Potter reference as well as the Shining-like horror elements. Excited to see more in this series.
