I read this book for a local reading challenge that challenged me to read a favorite book of a family member. My dad has recommended this book to me for years, so I figured it was finally time. I really, really enjoyed it overall. It took me a little bit to get into, but it was a very engaging story once I was invested. It's like Big Fish and a coming of age Stephen King story had a baby. Excellent read.
This book made me feel many things, good and bad. I really loved it, and I plan to pass it along to my best friend right away.
3.5. It was a fun, quick read, but I was incredibly frustrated by major parts of it.
I liked this much more than the first book! I think Astrid and Jordan were much more compelling
The spicy scenes were good but didn't happen until the last fourth of the book. The rest was just meh.
