I ended up liking this one even more than the first. Very likable and relatable characters.
This is probably closer to a 3.5. This definitely isn't my favorite Neal Shusterman book, but it was still a captivating read while I was working through it. Always action packed and always leaves you wanting to know what comes in the next chapter.
Ehhh. Not the best book to start the year off with. It was cute but a little too fluffy for my tastes.
3.5. It was good but it was definitely YA... And I might be aging out of YA. GASP
It was all over the place but somehow that worked for it. Very enjoyable read.
The smut is as good as always with Katee Robert, but I figured out the mob scene wasn't my thing.
I think I just need to remember that I don't particularly care for Grady Hendrix books. The plots are intriguing and keep you reading... But that's about it. This one was better than the vampire one. However, the characters were once again intolerable. And there's something really odd about the "feminist" points that a white man is trying to make.
It was an enjoyable book but it didn't do anything new or amazing with the legend of Dracula.
