Fourth Wing was a captivating novel that kept me engrossed from beginning to end.

The characters, though annoying, are well-developed.

The plot is well paced, with the perfect balance of suspense, drama, and unexpected twists that kept me interested.

THE ENDING

A gripping romance.

"Iron Flame" by Rebecca Yarros takes readers on a thrilling journey via Xaden and Violet's fast courtship in a dystopian world of extreme sports and the military. The book offers an exciting plot while exploring themes of forgiveness, family, and second chances.

Violet, like everyone else, was expected to die during her first year at Basgiath War College. But Threshing, the first challenge to face in order to weed out people with weak brains, unworthiness, and bad luck, turned out to be just the start of her difficult path.

I would give this book a respectable four stars altogether. Even though I didn't feel as strongly about the ending as some other reviews did, I still think Rebecca Yarros did a good job of leaving us on the edge of our seats and making me wonder what was going to become of Xaden.
