I love the banter, humor, longing, and the tension in this whole series. Ursa please make your books longer I beg 😩

28% through and I don’t like Dean’s pushiness about sex. Literally all he talks and thinks about is sex. It feels like he’s reducing Allie to just a body and I don’t like that :/ 

79% through and it’s still mostly about sex lol. They finally dtr’d but it’s still very surface level. They’re cute together and he treats her well but I’m not getting the depth and romance I want. 

91% through and yes people grieve in different ways but having sex right after

Beau’s

funeral was definitely unnecessary filler. The third act conflict was very realistic though so I appreciate that. 

Overall not my fav couple of the series but I’m still enjoying it!  

Too short, imo. John could have done more groveling and there were alot of time jumps that weren’t filled in. I think they were cute as a couple but their interactions lacked depth. They had some deep conversations but they were brief and I felt like they didn’t really know each other all that well. 

I loved this way more than I expected! The progression from friends to lovers was really great and I normally don’t like that trope.  I really liked the banter and I laughed quite a few times. I’m definitely going to continue

I liked the grumpy x sunshine dark cowboy aspect. The dirty talk was good. I feel like I can’t give it higher than a 3 because of the misogynistic undertones Denver had. I didn’t really like the way he spoke to/about women (although some were not good people). Their love felt kind of rushed to me and there wasn’t much groveling before Valerie was just swooped into a relationship with him. Things definitely could’ve been more fleshed out. I understand where Denver is coming from as a character but he would’ve been way better/swoon worthy if he didn’t talk about women in such a horrible way imo.
