An atmospheric read set in a Scottish castle at Christmas. The continuing development of the relationship between the Dahlias is fun to read. The intrigue and mystery and sheer number of suspicious characters in this kept me guessing.

Lovely poems. all quite different from each other. Beautiful illustrations. A book to return to time and again.

This was okay. Quite fun, predictable, and honestly so many sex scenes that they got a bit boring and repetitive after a while.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to. I thought it would be silly, but although there were funny parts, it wasn't. It was an interesting speculative look at how Jesus' life might have played out before (and during) his time of ministry. Biff was an engaging character, and I enjoyed his view on things.

I found this hard going in places although it was interesting and informative. Lots of things that I'd never considered.

Like most short story collections with several authors, this was a very mixed bag, with some stories I liked more than others. On the whole, I enjoyed them, though somehow none of them quite lived up to my expectations.

This was slow-going but worth the effort A diverse cast of characters with a changing point of view as the story progresses. Maybe some of the characters were a bit stereotypical, but they were all realistic and interesting An enlightening read.

A nice Christmassy countryside romance with a backstory of family trauma thrown in.
