I borrowed this from the library to see if I’d find this helpful, and it had so much information about air plants, complete with descriptions and photos of different varieties. Lots of care details as well, and I appreciated the perspective that you could use them as decor knowing that you’ll need to replace them after a time, much like cut flowers. I’ll probably purchase at some point for all of the display ideas.

DID NOT FINISH

I was so excited to read this, but I couldn’t get into the style of it being told in verse. Also, from the very beginning, it felt impossible to distinguish Tam and Kate’s voices.

I’m not even sure how to express all of the feelings I’m having right now, so I’ll just say that I loved this and can’t wait to read the final book in the trilogy.

This was atmospheric and creepy and I was into it. Couldn’t read it at night in bed because my imagination goes wild, and I appreciated that colonialism and eugenics were incorporated into the horror. I’m excited to watch the Hulu adaptation to see if the visuals align with what I pictured! (Related: I’ve never read Wuthering Heights and now I’m curious to.)

TW: rape/assault, cannibalism, suicide.

Figure skater and speed skater teenagers fall in Insta-love sounded basically perfect for me. This was cute, though honestly at about 70% I considered DNFing because I got a little bored with the pacing and the weird family dynamic.
