I really liked the last installment in this series. It dealt with a few other topics than the other two stories but it was still fun.
I really liked the portrayal of a young woman growing up in New York before and during World War I. It is a time in history I do not know very much about, especially in the states so it was interesting to see what was going on. I also liked the tree as a methapor.
I really loved this installment in the series. It is always so nice to return to Butler and see all the Abbotts again. I really liked how the story between Amanda and Landon was portrayed and how Landon has grown since the start of the series. It was also super fun to see Fred and Dexter again along with all the human characters. I liked that there is a relationship blossoming for Max in the future and cannot wait for further books in this series.
Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy

It took me a really long time to get through this book. I liked the premise and how stories of different Shadowhunters were intertwined with Simon's story. But it somehow fell flat for me in some aspects. I did not feel the need to pick it up again, which is why I opted for the audiobook in the end, which really helped me to finish it. I fell as I have fallen out of love with the Shadowhunter world and I will read the books that are out until now but I will definitely go with the audiobooks from them.
It was very nice to get an insight in the characters and what they looked like. I liked the little titbits of information, we got from this novel.
This book was on a solid track to a fun three star read, which just takes my mind of everything and I am entertained but the ending was completely rushed with no communication at all and just like ok and now everything is fine and I was just not a fan of this, so I decided to knock it down a star.
I loved the start of this series. It was such an interesting world and the magic system is really intriguing. I am really looking forward to reading the next installments in the series.
This was a quick nice read and it was good for what it was. I liked the characters and their chemistry but sometimes the timing was a bit off throughout the novel.
I usually do not like thrillers and picked this one up for a readathon because it sounded interesting. Unfortunately, it fell a bit flat for me, I could not really see the mystery and found it not really thrilling. I enjoyed the pop culture references and the sister dynamics displayed but that was not enough for me to enjoy this novel. I liked the writing style, so I will check out other works of this author in the future.
I liked that insight into Kelsier's training and how he learned his mistborn abilities.
