I really liked this novel. As with THUG it transported me into a world that I am completely unfamiliar with. I am not really a huge fan of rap but it was a huge point of the story and I think through the audiobook was really helpful there. I found it interesting to see the Garden again from a different perspective.

It was a nice and quick read but I really did not enjoy the forced conflict in it.

I was very intrigued by the premise of this book as it is narrated by death. The impartial narration gives the book a very chilling atmosphere. I was a bit taken out of the story every time german phrases were translated word for word after they were utter. This could be because I am German and I understood them the first time but it just took me out of the story.

This is definitely a YA-fantasy that leans more in the romance direction, especially in the second part of the novel. However, I really liked it and found the whole world and concept very interesting. I am definitely looking forward to reading the next novel in the series.

I liked the last installment and found it a very interesting conclusion. I was a bit confused by all the different perspectives that only came together in the end.

I found this book interesting for mentioning a lot of philosophic theories and concepts. However, I did not like the way the story was told and the frame narrative did not really make sense to me. It also deals with very weird parental figures, which I did not really like.

I really would like to see the whole story from Riden's perspective but it was a very interesting point o view.

I loved this novel for the representation and the open discussion about it. I found that the plot took a bit of a backburner to the characters but I still liked it.

I was quite wary of going into this book, seeing all the positive reviews that it is getting, but I loved it. It is such an interesting take on a romance novel while still including some serious tones. For me, it felt like I read a book that January and Gus could write together.

I really liked how the story picked up from the first installments. Now, that the world was set a lot of action came into play. I loved how the different types of magic were explored further and how Fitz grew up even more. Also the end of this book, I cannot wait to read the next one.
