I read this for the romancoply prompt for the farmer's market but I did not really enjoy it. The writing style was quite weird for me and the passages were fragmented and had no real connection to each other.
I liked the historic spin on the cowboy novel and its historic setting. However, I would have liked the story more if it would have been flustered out a bit more.
I really liked this novel, basically like everything that Marie Force writes. The only thing I do not like about this book where the inserts into Ava's and Eric's story because I did not read their book and it interrupted the main plot.
I liked this book because it was very informative to find back into the world of the inheritance cycle. However, it is a bit sad that the book was done before the book series was finished.
I loved the new book from Kelly Moran, it is completely different from her other series but it discusses such important topics. Trigger warnings for PTSD, death of parents and sibling, domestic abuse, neglect of children. I found that all topics fit in the novel and where treated with extreme care.
I am not so sure what I just read. The only good thing of the book is that it is reading super quick and I flew through it in two hours. This book needs a huge trigger warning for bullying and just shitty adult figures. It had a premise that I was interested in but the execution fell completely fell flat for me. It felt like this book wanted to put all different kinds of problems into the storyline but it never went through with the execution. It could have been at the same time 100 pages shorter and longer depending on the aspects it would have focused on. I also found the writing not very good and an editor would definitely have helped.
I liked the concept of the story but in my opinion, it was just way to short and would have been better if it was longer.
