TW: neglect, drug abuse, eating disorder

I absolutely fell in love with this story and the characters. This was my first read by Carian Cole and I was blown away by the story and the different topics discussed.
Lucky and Skylar had amazing chemistry and it was so fun to read how they got together. The topics discussed in this were handled very sensitively and I loved how supportive everyone was of Skylar and tried to help her cope. I cannot wait to read more by Carian Cole.

I really liked this poem but at some points, it was quite boring and that is what dragged it down for me.

This novel has definitely a lot of taboo elements but I still enjoyed my reading experience. I liked the discussions about mental health and the normalization of therapy and meditation.

Mir hat dieses Buch sehr gut gefallen und ich mochte vor allem die Charaktere und die Freundschaften sehr gerne. Ich kann leider keine Aussage über die Darstellung von Finn geben, allerdings konnte ich seine Gedanken nachvollziehen. Was mir besonders gut gefallen hat war die Repräsentation innerhalb des Buches aber vorallem, dass diese sehr beiläufig geschah und nicht immer im Mittelpunkt stand.

I really liked this novel and especially the characters as well as the friendships that were portrayed. I can not speak for the Trans representation but I really liked Finn and his thoughts. I especially enjoyed the representation that is present within the novel because it was always there but not always the main focus and it did not feel forced.

I really enjoyed this Cherry Falls Novel and it was nice to see different parts of the area. I liked the chemistry between the main characters and their storyline.

I liked this novella and the whole Cherry Falls series. For me, the story felt a bit rushed and I would have appreciated a bit more of a build-up and explanation for the relationship. I really liked the chemistry between the main characters and the epilogue was fun.

I found that story just a bit boring and it just took all the standard fantasy tropes and I did not really find it interesting and I could not really connect to any of the characters.

I think that is my least favorite novella of the Cherry Falls series up until this point. I liked Glory in Amethyst's story but in this story, I did not really vibe with her and I was not the hugest fan of the writing style. I still enjoyed the story but I wanted more explanation at some points.
