I really liked that we get to see a legend that is mentioned in the Farseerer-Trilogy fully flashed out and that it explains why people do not like the Wit.
This book definitely brought a few tears to my eyes. It was so nice to see the whole Giordino family again and to reconnect with Carmen and Jason. I loved the story between Maria and Austin and Everly was such a little darling. I think it puts a focus on a very important topic such as bone marrow donation and this in the context of a romance.
I think this is definitely my least favorite installment in the witcher series. I did not really understand the purpose of the book and what its value for the series is.
This book accomplished exactly what it set out to do. It was a fun, quick, and dirty shifter romance between a lion shifter and a human.
I absolutely adored this first installment in the Magnus Chase series. I love Norse mythology and to see how Rick Riordan encompasses this in a story is so amazing to see. I cannot wait to see more in the series but I already am in love with the characters and the representation.
The story starts 5 years after the events in The City of Brass and it took me right back to the world of Daevabad. I liked the chapters from Nari and Ali's perspective and I was not a huge fan of Dara's but I absolutely understand why they are necessary for the story. I could really connect to the characters and some I definitely just wanted to punch throughout the novel.
This was a really amazing and wonderful crafted story. I think it describes a grieving process very good and I was completely immersed in the story.
I really enjoyed Stephen Fry narrating the myths around the Trojan War because he is such a fantastic narrator. I did not like this installment as much as I did Mythos and Heroes because I found it a bit on the surface level at some points.
I really liked this installment of the Badlands territory series. I loved how Arkin was really sweet with Calli while being a Beast do everyone else.
I absolutely fell in love with this story and especially Liz and Mack as our main characters. I really enjoyed all the pop-culture references and I laughed out loud at times while listening to it. I think it covers important topics in a fantastic way and I really enjoyed the writing style. It was so fun to see an f/f romance featured in a young adult book and also have anxiety rep.
