I really liked this novel. We first meet Marco in his sister's book The Virgin Queen and I liked to see his growth and how he tried to protect his girl while still giving her the freedom to fight for herself.
Reread: I definitely need to raise the rating for this after my reread. I loved to be in this world again and to get reacquainted with the characters and I cannot wait to continue.
I really liked the start of this series but I had quite a hard time keeping all the characters straight at the beginning and I was also not quite sure where the story was going at times. I will check out the second book and see how much I like that.

I was not such a huge fan of this second installment in the series. The tension between Jude and Cardan is still of the charts but I was not really a huge fan of the rest of the story. I will definitely read the last book to finish the series.
This was a short little contemporary story and the perfect read to pass a rainy Sunday afternoon.
This was a nice addition to the world that Leigh Bardugo has created and I liked that we now know a bit more about certain saints and why they became saints.
I really liked the setting and the atmosphere of this story. The influences of the Russian folklore were very present and I definitely felt like I am in the woods with Vasilisa. However, I could not really connect to the characters and the story moved quite slowly at times for me which is why I cannot give it more than 3 stars. I am definitely still interested in the sequels.
I did like the concluding novel more than I did the previous installment because I felt like I could connect more to the characters, I also liked how the series came to an end.
I absolutely loved this sequel to Scythe, I was very happy to be back in the world of the Scythe and to see how Citra and Rownan navigate their new situations. I liked the new characters that were introduced and how the Thunderhead played a way bigger part in this novel. The ending absolutely shocked me and I am looking forward to seeing how the series is concluded.
I really enjoyed this third installment in the series. I liked the elements that were introduced and how it set everything up for the final novel. I am still not attached to all the characters and therefore I am rating it 4 stars instead of 5.
I really enjoyed this middle-grade novel and the themes discussed within it. Marinka was a very relatable main character and I loved her interactions with the house.
