As with every book that Seven Rue writes, I absolutely fell in love with the story.
It follows Rooney, a college student who meets Wells, a single dad, and his son Ira when she moves in with her best friend Evie. They form an instead connection and slowly start a relationship.
The writing of this story was, as always, fantastic. I love how Seven can create characters that have very unique interests but I can always connect to them. I adored how Wells and Rooney got to know each other and Ira was just the precious little boy ever. To see how Rooney and Wells dealt with their internal conflicts was fantastic and I loved the family they formed.

I really liked this novel and the magic system. I was very interested in the world and how the magic system worked. The characters were crafted fantastically and I absolutely loved Reichis, as a character. The beginning was a bit slow for me but now I am definitely hocked and I will continue with the series.

I did not know very much about this novel and I solely picked it up because I love Naomi Novik's writing. The story started right from the first page and I definitely fell in love with it and felt instantly connected to the main characters and especially Temeraire. The audiobook really helped me with that and I read in two sittings. The writing was beautiful and I loved the connection between Laurence and Temeraire and the humor that shone through in their conversations sometimes. It is not a full five stars for me because I could not really connect with the side characters and some story parts fell bit flat for me.

I absolutely loved the second installment in this series and I loved the relationship between Athan and Selene. It was fun to see the characters from the first installment again.

I really enjoyed the story of Rider and Cyrah and how they met. Cyrah is from Iran and goes to a Summer Exchange Programm in Canada, there she meets Ryder, whose parents are from Pakistan. They have insane chemistry from the start but Cyrah is quite hesitant to start a relationship with him because it is not proper in her culture.
I really liked the writing style and the passing of the story. Furthermore, I could connect to the characters and understand their struggles and I was definitely rooting for them throughout the novella. I liked the cultural aspects of the story such as the arranged marriage because it taught me something new and I found it was well done. I cannot speak for the representation but I overall enjoyed this novella very much.

I really liked this story and how it unraveled. The story follows two sibling pairs, one from the lower class and the other one the prince and princess of the country. The world-building is fantastic and I could really imagine the places where it is set. I like how Tomi Adeyemi took real-world issues and put them in a fantasy world and made a very powerful statement there.

I really liked this middle-grade story. I think it was very fun and action-packed and it definitely played with the thought of a Fantasy world being real. I also really liked the themes that were included within the story.

I absolutely fell in love with this book while reading it. I know the film and thought it would be fun to read the book it is based on. I really liked the character dynamics and Sophie's snark to every character. I found that all the characters were very well developed and I definitely enjoyed reading from them.

I really liked this story. It had Victoria Schwab's writing style, which I really love and put in a middle-grade setting. It was fun to see Cassidy navigate her life and her new purpose while being friends with a ghost.

I really really liked this story and it is nearly a five star for me but I had quite a hard time keeping all of the characters straight. The magic and the world-building are absolutely phenomenal and I could really picture Daevabad from the descriptions. I liked Nahri and Ali as our main characters and I am quite intrigued by Dara. I will definitely read the sequel very soon.
