I liked the concept of the novel but I found it falls flat a bit during the course of the novel. I was a huge fan of Blossom because she is just so much fun and a fantastic side-character.
I really liked this novella and the chemistry between the main characters.
I really liked the last book in this series because there was amazing chemistry between Kenzie and Bram and I liked how they found each other.
I absolutely fell in love with this story.
The novel follows Eric Bennett, the veteran goalkeeper of the New York Admirals, and Kyle Swift a barkeeper and grad-student. They met through multiple friends, Scott Hunter and Kip from the first book in the Game Changer series. Eric wants to explore his bisexuality after his divorce and Kyle is helping him discover the dating scene and they start to hook up.
I found this book such a fantastic addition to the Game Changer series. It was fun to see some of the characters again, especially Scott and Kip. I liked how the relationship between Eric and Kyle developed and that they were friends first before anything happened. I really enjoyed how they shared interests and how their relationship developed from there. I cannot wait for the next books in the series.

I really enjoyed my reading experience with this novel. I loved to be back in this world and with the Castle-family. I loved the relationship between Wes and Bethany and how it changed from hate to love. I admired Bethany's transformation and how she worked on herself and I loved how Wes supported her through it. I really liked Laura and how she changed Bethany and Wes.
I always liked Assasin's Creed as a game to play and so it was nice to read the story as a novel. It was interesting to see how the story transferred to the novel but for me, it did not really add to the story for me.
I liked this novel but I was not such a huge fan as I was of the first novel in this series.
While I liked the conservations that Stacey and Daniel had via text, I was a bit annoyed by how fast she got over the fact, that she was lied to for nearly a year. I also just did not connect with Stacey as much as I would have liked too. However, I still loved the writing style and I cannot wait for the next novel in this series.

I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for an honest review.
Guilty as Charged follows Javier Montes who has just been released from prison and Sydney Matthews, a lawyer who is tired of her father trying to control her life. They went to High School together but never talked because Javier is from the "wrong" side of town. When they meet again in a club, they start seeing each other all the time and their story progresses from there.
I absolutely fell in love with this story from the beginning. I liked how Sydney and Javier build their relationship and how positive it was in their lives. I liked that Sydney learned to stand up for herself and what she wanted instead of just saying yes to everything. What I loved most about this character growth is that it came from herself, Javier definitely helped her to build confidence but she made her decisions on her own.
I adored the side characters in this story and I admire the friendship that Selena and Sydney formed and I hope that we maybe get a book about Selena and Andre's story. The rest of the side characters were also awesome and I liked how they contributed to the story.
I really liked the setting and how Sydney consciously had decided to stay in her hometown rather than finding her luck in the big city.
What made me love this book such much is how much I personally connected with Sydney and at some times also Ally in this story. Sometimes I felt called out and in other moments I felt totally seen and I really connected with her.
All in all, it is another amazing novel by Harlow James and I cannot wait for what she will write next.

I am a huge fan of greek classics and hero tales so this one was a must-read for me. I absolutely loved how it blended the tales of the heroes together. I listened to it on audio-books and Stephen Fry is an absolut delight to listen too.
