I flew through this book and loved every second of it. I have definitely found a new auto-buy author for me. I loved how a successful black woman was portrayed in this novel and how the love-interest broke some gender cliches. I loved the communication between Sloan Rafe and how honesty was never a problem in their relationship.
I will definitely make my way trough Rebekah Weatherspoon's backlist now.

I really liked the plus-size representation in this book and how Viola did not want to loose weight for a man but just to be healthy. Also, Grant does not shame her for her weight but takes her how she is.

I really liked the chemistry between the characters and how their relationship developed. I also appreciated the casual mention of a gay couple and how this never seen as a problem.

I really liked this installment and how some storylines came together.
I am really looking forward to reading the last book in the series.

I really liked the last installment in this series. It dealt with a few other topics than the other two stories but it was still fun.

I really liked the portrayal of a young woman growing up in New York before and during World War I. It is a time in history I do not know very much about, especially in the states so it was interesting to see what was going on. I also liked the tree as a methapor.

I really loved this installment in the series. It is always so nice to return to Butler and see all the Abbotts again. I really liked how the story between Amanda and Landon was portrayed and how Landon has grown since the start of the series. It was also super fun to see Fred and Dexter again along with all the human characters. I liked that there is a relationship blossoming for Max in the future and cannot wait for further books in this series.

It took me a really long time to get through this book. I liked the premise and how stories of different Shadowhunters were intertwined with Simon's story. But it somehow fell flat for me in some aspects. I did not feel the need to pick it up again, which is why I opted for the audiobook in the end, which really helped me to finish it. I fell as I have fallen out of love with the Shadowhunter world and I will read the books that are out until now but I will definitely go with the audiobooks from them.

I really liked the audiobook for this series but the book did not hit the mark for me. There were some quite good and new aspects but somethings are quite repetitive from the last few installments in the world.

This was a nice quick read and I really liked the characters in it. I definitely read it at the wrong time of the year, so I will possibly reread it around Christmas.
