I loved this novel for the representation and the open discussion about it. I found that the plot took a bit of a backburner to the characters but I still liked it.

I was quite wary of going into this book, seeing all the positive reviews that it is getting, but I loved it. It is such an interesting take on a romance novel while still including some serious tones. For me, it felt like I read a book that January and Gus could write together.

I really liked how the story picked up from the first installments. Now, that the world was set a lot of action came into play. I loved how the different types of magic were explored further and how Fitz grew up even more. Also the end of this book, I cannot wait to read the next one.

I do not know what it is with this series but somehow the story falls a bit flat for me. I like the character group and the overarching plot but the story itself does not really hold my attention. I will definitely continue with the series and maybe I will fall in love with it in the end.

I loved this installment as I love every visit to the Abbott family. I found it fascinating that Marie Force mentions to creat just beautiful and diverse stories while still including the complete family. The only thing I missed was more interaction between Lucas and Landon but maybe we get to see that in Landon's novel.

As with the other installments, I can appreciate the writing and the characters but somehow the story just is not for me. It is by no means bad, I am just not as gripped as I would like to be.

I loved this audiobook and how Michelle Obama tells her life story. She does not hide what happened in her life and how it affected her.

I really liked this short story collection and how we got to see more from Magnus Bane.

I somehow felt that I have read this story before and therefore it did not really connect with me. I don't think I will continue with the series.

I liked some of the stories more than others therefore overall this book is a three-star read for me.
