I had a really hard time understanding the concept and structure of the novel at first. The longer I read the more I got into the story and the more I enjoyed it. I found it really interesting to get an insight into this community and the history behind it.
I read this book for a challenge for the romanancopoly 2020. I really did not like the execution of the story and that basically half of it is the happy epilogue. I love reading glimpses of what happens after the novel ends but this was just to dragged out to me.
I did not really enjoy the writing style nor the plotline of the story. There was no real development.
I still cannot stop crying after finishing this book. This book broke me in a way I have not experienced before. I really liked the writing style and the set up of the story. The book is very graphic at times and there is a trigger warning for basically everything in it
I liked this novella but I still wanted more from the story. I hope the next installment will fix this.
I liked this installment more than I did the last one but it was still lacking something for me. I am not sure if I will continue with the series after this installment as there are 4 more novellas to read.
I still enjoyed the novella but I was not so deep into it as in the other parts even though the event that everybody had been waiting for finally came in this installment. I will finish the last part of this story and then look if I will read further one.
For me, this is one of the works of Shakespeare that I did not like that much. I cannot really pinpoint why it did not grasp my attention, maybe it will get better in the second part.
I really loved the shadow hunter chronicles and so I am very happy that I finally dove into the infernal devices. I liked to be back in the world but it was very nice to see that Cassandra Clare used other devices to tell a story in this world. I cannot wait to read the second installment.
I did not really like the second installment of the play either, probably because there are so many characters present and it was quite a messy time in history.
