I really enjoyed the start of this fantasy series but for me, something was missing to give it a full five stars. I am really intrigued to see how the story will progress.

This was such a great relaxing and comforting read while also giving me a lot to think about. I really enjoy Becky Chambers writing style and this serious is just so great to read and I hope there will be more books set in this world.

This book follows Isabella and Lucas and is set in Whiskey Run, as are a number of Hope's books.

Isabella is the caregiver for Lucas Blaze's grandmother G, who was her grandmother's best friend and like a grandmother to her as well. Lucas owns the Whiskey Run Distillery with his four brothers and does not believe in love after his mother has left the family after his birth. His grandmother wants him to be happy and open to love, so he asks Isabella to marry him in order to make her happy. After the marriage, his feelings towards her grow, while she has been in love with him for a while.

I really enjoyed this novel and the chemistry between the main characters. I have enjoyed Hope's writing for a while and it is great to get a longer story from her. I hope we will get a book for all of Lucas's brothers.

I struggled a bit with this novel initially but was quickly drawn to it. I loved the concept of the story and how it depicts the underworld.

I really like reading Agatha Christie and she is basically the only crime writer which I will read. I enjoyed reading the first case of Poirot and seeing the beginnings.

I think this is my favorite Christie book to date and loved how it was set-up and how the conclusion came to be.

I love learning about history and I found this book did a great job at summaries and telling the history of the Plantagenets.

I enjoyed this collection and learning more about East African culture.

I love reading about women of history who are rediscovered and praised for their important contributions to world history. I found this book to be very comprehensive and great to listen to.

I really enjoyed this second installment and that we got to meet more libraries and revisit the characters.
