This is a great first adult novel from Holly Jackson! I have read her previous young adult novels and loved them. Not Quite Dead Yet felt perfectly like a more grown up version of those. The twists with just enough information to think you’re figuring it out and then suddenly everything changes is exactly what I have come to expect from Holly Jackson’s books.

I felt very misled by the description of this book. I was not expecting it to be entirely based on the FMC and her fiance cheating on each other the whole book. Why are we even glorifying cheating in this way?
