sighs. i think that friends to lovers just doesn’t really do it for me :(

i really wanted to enjoy this book more but it took me nearly a month to finish it because i wasn’t invested at all in it,,,

will continue the series tho since i do enjoy the writing and the next two couples sound more fun than prince and bodyguard.

this series is kind of a mystery. no foreword and no acknowledgments, no goodreads author profile, no website or socials listed anywhere. is this what happens when people just decide to write a book and then leave it at that? is that something i can do as well???

anyways. this was yet another neat little book, i’m very curious to see where this will go and dying to see the romance be picked up. this could do with a little more romance to enchant the masses, but it is entertaining enough on its own.

all in all, these books deserved a lot more attention!

what a nice little gem, i am both sad and confused this has so few reviews. seems to be very slow burn, but the magic system and world building are very interesting, am looking forward to where this series takes me. i’ve bought the next two books in anticipation of liking them as much as this one.

slightly disappointed in the romance, highly entertained by the fantasy aspects, specifically by the DRAGON!!!!

i've completed this series a few days ago and despite given this five stars i just wanna say: gdi this had SO MANY cool elements that deserved SO MUCH MORE screen time!!!!

i feel like i kinda rushed too much through these books, because i was having such a good time tbh, that maybe i didn't absorb everything as well as i should've??

i'm not taking back my five stars bc tbh i give these away much more by enterainment levels than by like, actual Critique. but still, Cooper Dayton is Way Too Cool of a character and i feel like this series deserved literally a whole other book. i mean, Oliver Park as well, he was way too sweet and self-deprecating and i do feel like we didn't get enough of him?? idk if anyone else would agree with me or if i genuinely just rushed through these too much, but damn.

i might have to pick up these series back up again eventually for a re-read, which actually just goes to show how much fun i had reading it. i don't ever read stuff again unless i truly enjoy them.
