There is just something whimsical about having the photographs entwined with the poems. It brings them to life even more and I loved everything about this collection!

Growing up in the Mormon church (and having left many years ago), I understood exactly how Sebastian grew up. It was interesting being able to relate to this story in that way. That being said, I really enjoyed this coming of age story about finding your true self. The courage that Sebastian showed touched my heart and I am so glad this story exists in this world.
Umm okay this was great! As my first Kristoff novel, I wasn’t sure what to expect other than having my heart trampled, and this did not disappoint. There were twists I didn’t see coming which kept me reading. The very end made me upset and confused and say WTF out loud but I will surely be reading book 2 to see what the heck happens!
Thanks to life and responsibilities (and other books) getting in the way, I finally managed to finish this gem! The amount of time it took me to read in no way reflects my feelings about this book. I didn’t know how much I needed this beautiful story in my life!
Ughh, this was sooo good. I need book 2 now, thanks.

What a beautiful story that reminds us to never let grown up things take away our childlike wonder. I am sure I will be rereading this gem in the future.
