An enchanting, whimsical, and rather silly adventure story about a professor curating her Encyclopedia of Faeries as she journeys to the far north to study an unknown race of fae. 

Told in an epistolary format, Fawcett’s writing brought the magic to life. I loved the banter between Emily & Wendell. Not to mention the doggo companion, Shadow 😍 

I’m very intrigued to see where Emily & Wendell’s next adventure takes us.

Still one of the best audiobooks produced with an amazing cast of narrators. I am pumped for this adaptation so brb while I binge all the episodes and play Aurora on repeat until the end of time.

make sure to read the authors note for content warnings because this book doesn’t shy away from delving into very real & terrifying topics.

don’t mind if do put book 2 at the top of my tbr because hi that cliffhanger?? I need book 2 immediately.

I’m blown away with how much I love this series so far! Fonda Lee’s writing is so fluid and engrossing that the subtle time jumps throughout the story is effortless. 

The political intrigue is so compelling that you cannot help being sucked into the world. I cried a few times throughout this one but what’s new. Plus the spicy scenes? Never saw this one in particular coming but damn 🔥

I’m nervous, scared and excited for the last book in this series because I know it’s going to break me in some way. I feel so attached to these characters & I feel something big is on the horizon.

A powerful, raw & visceral memoir with very difficult subject matter at it's core. Gay is very honest in her experience and that emotion and rage of what happened to her as a child comes off the page. 

It's critical to remember just how much our own childhood experiences and those we were affected by, shape the people we become in adulthood. This is such a difficult read but I appreciate the authors openness in sharing her experience. I hope this story helps those who are in need of a voice.

This one exudes good for her energy and I am here for it✨
