I’ll start by saying thank you to Luna Literary for this arc, as always!
This book had the bones to be good. It really did. But I just couldn’t get into it. I almost DNF’d it but pushed through.
Not only was the mmc just plain rude for 75% of the book, he kept calling the fmc a slur. I was waiting for some sort of scene where she called him out of he apologized but it feels like it became a term of endearment at some point and it made me flinch every time.
Then, you want me to believe after no physical therapy for weeks/months, but through the power of bully to lovers, weird nicknames, and a big dick, she magically can feel her legs again? Yeah ok. “And then he keeps fucking me until the shape of his cock is imprinted on the inside of my pussy as deep as the shape of his heart into mine.” 🙇🏽♀️
And in top of that you men’s to tell me this girls mom gave up cancer treatments so she could start a new hobby she’d never done before?? Not like one she had been commuted to and wanted to continue, but a fresh new hobby? She risked her life (and lost) so her 8 year old could skate?? I feel line if I was dying and my child wanted to start a new hobby I would say sorry kid not now??? It would be so different it maybe she was older and had been skating for so long 😭
I know books don’t have to be realistic but there was just so much I couldn’t connect to here lmao. Between this bitch ass if a man who calls women “warm wet holes” to just the unrealistic medical choices made. I appreciate this arc and the chance to read it, but it’s a no from me dawg.
Lastly, I understand and accept that arc’s are imperfect copies, but goodness there were a lot of grammar and spelling errors 🫣 I hope those at least were fixed for the release.

Theo Silva, the man that you are. Theo was someone we met in like book one and damn i just couldnt wait until he got his own book. He is literally the perfect man. Plus, reverse grumpy sunshine works so well with his golden retriever-ness. I mean, him showing his love for Winter with every love language possible was just so swoon worthy???? Damn. Additionally, Winter is also an awesome fmc, so determined and loving. Im so happy to see her character arc here, and to watch her grow.
