I really enjoyed this story. I think the plot was great. I wasnt the hugest fan of some of its execution but overall i enjoyed the story and thats all that matters.

At times the dual timeline was a little much. It got to be a bit confusing when the chapters would overlap each other from all the povs but i caught on after a bit. Jake was a huge green flag the entire book which was awesome, but Charlie just kept fighting him and it would break my heart!

I was approved for this, not having read books 1 and 2 yet - and i actually made the decisions to read books 1 and 2 before starting this one to get the whole vibe of the world! Luckily i found their audiobooks on hoopla and binged them :) I've never read anything from this author before but i really enjoyed her writing.

While this was my favorite of the 3, i think the ending wasnt as strong as it could have been. It wasnt bad, but it just felt a little lacking?  But i dont think it was the writing, i think i was just upset with decisions that Connor made 😂 men are dumb.

Connor is absolutely a lover boy, totally perfect name calling him mr swoony. He was so acts of service and i loved every second of him trying to convince our fmc to fall for him.

I love a good sports romance, especially hockey, so id say if you feel the same, give this series - and specifically this one - a shot!
