Body horror, with a focus on pregnancy & childbirth. Keep going through to the end. They figure it out, and the last two pages had me in tears. Hendrix did his homework on homes for “wayward girls”, teen pregnancy, & the adoptions that came from them. This one was close to his heart. Read through the afterward if you’re skeptical (I was at times).
