This book was so lovely and comforting to read. The illustrations were breathtaking and magical, and the story makes you feel connected to all of life throughout history.

The illustrations in this book were incredible! Yuyi Morales used all kinds of textures from her everyday life to help create the pictures in the book. A beautiful, touching story.
