I bought this book because I had a strong nostalgic reaction to seeing it in the store. I vividly remember being entranced by the illustrations in this book when I was little. Couldn't remember what it was about, but those illustrations made me feel like I was a little kid again haha. 

This was a sweet story about 3 baby owls worried about their mom coming back. As a near-universal experience for kids, this book is a good way to help them work through those fears. I appreciated that this edition also featured suggestions of how this book could be used with kids to facilitate certain discussions. 

This was a complex book dealing with grief, sexuality, abuse, race, and friendship. While I really enjoyed it and felt it was a wonderful book, I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected to because of how much I loved Hurricane Child. 

I bought 4 volumes of Heartstopper after watching about half of the first episode on Netflix. This volume is about half of the first season. It was precious!

A very important book for children and adults to read.

A good book for young children about how expressing emotions in certain ways can impact those around you. 

I had heard about people building safe ways for animals to cross roads, but I had no idea how many fascinating solutions have been developed all over the world for specific animals! I would love to read this with students and discuss what could be done to help animals in our area. 

A lovely nonfiction picture book that teaches kids about space. This book had beautiful illustrations!

This book was so cute! The way the author used colors throughout the book was really beautiful. I love how it gradually moved from black and white with bits of color to very colorful. This would be a great storytime book for kids.
