This was my first graphic novel and I honestly didn’t know I was going to enjoy it as much as I did! 

The storyline was well delivered. The artwork is divine. And the character well established from beginning to end. The story left me wanting in the best way that I had to purchase the next two volumes the first chance I got! Volume Two is my next read for sure! 

There were some really good nuggets and quotes throughout.  I read this slowly over the month with I think helped with the repetitiveness of the passages. The first half was my favorite and then I felt like it dragged on and the passages got longer towards the end. 

I feel like this isn't meant to be read in a couple sittings, keep it next to your bed and read one passages or two at a time and let them sit with you! 

Was it ground breaking? No. Did it read like an extended epilogue, 100%! Was it entirely necessary, questionable! But did I enjoy it, and it didn’t make me laugh, smile, feel hopeful and lighthearted? Yes! It Ends With Us was a complete story and I felt like the ending told us that Lily and Atlas were going to end up together.

This was just exactly what fans wanted… a happy ever after. Just with the bumps that came alone with them starting a relationship because of both of their pasts. However, I feel like the ending was completely rushed. 

SPOILERS AHEAD… I would’ve loved to see Atlas reading his vows to Lily and her reaction. Or Lily commenting on his vows or just them together sharing a moment at the end. Not just Atlas and his vows to Lily. I love me some Atlas but wasn’t the story supposed to be about them finally coming together and their happy ever after?

I was struggling with what rate this book. I dont know if I would have continued reading if I wasn’t listening to the audiobook! Also wouldn’t call this a thriller, there’s is no suspense and the two plot twists didn’t really shock me. 

I was ready to call it at least 5 times during Part 1.  I felt like it really dragged on. I found Amber quite whiny and annoying.  It became very repetitive/ it could have all played out a little faster. Then I made it to Part 2 and the pace change helped kept me in. Part 2 needed to happen for the backstory but boy was it hard to get through in some moments. (Check TW before you read this!) Abuse, control and manipulation were a large part of Part 2!!

But once you get into Part 2 the story really starts to come together and was more intense than I thought it was going to be. I finally found a character I could like a little in Daphne. Even though every character is very one dimensional and no one really grows throughout the story (Daphne might be the only one but it’s a bit of a stretch). 

If you are okay reading through slow parts you will like the outcome of this book!

A perfect fun Christmas read with all the woes of modern dating and a HEA wrapped up in a nice little bow at the end. 

The Hunger Game series is honestly unlike any other! The writing is beautifully done and the characters are so well developed. You can’t help but get attached, invested and emotional. 

I am now a firm believer of audiobooks. This series is great as an audiobook and I highly recommend it. The writing being spoken fully engrossed me from the first word! I blasted through this series.  

Even if you’ve read the book before do it again as an audiobook! 

I think this book was a great way to finish the series. And I feel like there is a lot of things being set up for other books to be written about the other characters! I think a lot of the questions that you accumulated in book  one book two you were definitely answered but there are some things swept under the rug.  The relationship between Wrath and Emelia grows in trust and it’s exactly what you want to see with how the relationship was built in the first two books. 

A lot happens in this book and I enjoyed it as a whole! The spice level was turned up to 100!! Warning if that’s not what you’re into! 

I do feel like the last couple chapters were in a nice little bow and some story lines just end with no answers. But again I think this is setting up other books that will follow in the world. 

Read this originally when it was first released and listening to the series as an audiobook now. Definitely recommend the audiobook! I forgot how good this series was and how many heartbreaking moments there are! Audiobooks have officially made me the lady walking her dog laughing to herself or getting emotionally invested and fighting back tears! 

The perfect fall/winter read! Definitely feeling the small town christmassy magic! Sweetest slow burn ever. Stella and Luka deserve their happiness! In a town of busy bodies, the side characters  really make the story even better! Can’t wait to read the stories of Beckett, Layla and Charlie!
