This book is for those who have ever been ghosted while dating someone. Or had an ex come back out of nowhere and then leave just as suddenly. This is for the people that feel like all of their friends are moving forward in life, but they are stuck doing the same thing they’ve always done. Successful, goal oriented 30 something people who feel like something is missing. 

This is a book about the dynamics of relationships with friends and hopeful partners. This is a story about the hopeless dating world that exists. Anyone who is dating in the 21st-century knows what it feels like to be ghosted by someone. Have them be a part of your life in such a big way and then they just disappear. 

Dolly Alderton truly knows how to write about the human experience. Nonfiction and fiction. I’ve read everything she’s written and I love the voice she writes with. There were so many moments in this novel where I knew and felt exactly what she was talking about. Whether it was about a friendship, a relationship or everything in between. The struggle with family and the struggle with self. I think there is something for everyone in this book, because it’s just so human!

Not that it was needed but this books has officially made Abby Jimenez one of my favorite authors and I want to say this is my favorite book of hers! 

His completely had me hooked from beginning to end.  I finished it in two days and loved every second. I swear I felt her heart and soul in these pages! 

I can not say enough beautiful things about this story but I hope you read this and feel everything I did! I swear the tears are worth it!!! 

A journey of grief and self discovery. Of strong friendships and family. Of not the right time and falling in love. And of course just a touch of magic. 

Clementine and Iwan’s story is touching and will pull at your heartstrings! I loved the reveals and how story lines tied together.

The touch of magic, I believe is tied to grief or when the person needed it the most. And if you can jump on that then you won’t have questions about it. And really do all questions need to be to be answered? Or is that the touch of whimsy really all we need in a romance?
