Cute WLW romance set in a coffee shop, if you love a slow burn/low spice cozy romance I would recommend it.
The two main characters had a believable chemistry, and the author incorporates family of origin dysfunction impact on attachment
I found the plot a little predictable...I am not a big fan of miscommunication and third act break up tropes so the conflict felt a little flat, especially with the grand gesture/quick make up

A cute sapphic sports romance with themes of mental health, internalized homophobia, bi-erasure, found family, and dealing with intolerant family dynamics. I liked the opposites attract trope and how that played into the connection and conflicts between Amy and Caro.
*limited hockey for a sports romance with little spice (only fade to black/closed-door scenes)

Very helpful and informative. I loved the accessibility of this book (Main point recaps, explanations for metaphors/abstract thinking, abridged track, etc.). There are actually so many skills and realistic adjustments that can be implemented compared to other "self-help' books
medium-paced
The book felt very flat and hard to connect with any of the characters. The author did not handle the conversation around disordered eating/body image/fatphobia with care. It felt unnecessary since the inclusion didn’t go beyond a couple of sentences.
Minor: Body shaming, Eating disorder, Fatphobia
