I'm sort of stunned after reading this one. I was so immersed into this other world, and now it's over. Fantastic book! It didn't end quite how I thought it would, but that's very common with this author. Even when you get the happy ending, it never comes around the way you expect it to. I wish she would write more books with these characters!

This book includes most of Schumann's Album For the Young songs, some of them are edited to be easier for young fingers. The songs are woven together with the story of Schumann's life and introduced as he writes them for his own children.
