Another good one, but I'm getting tired of all the drama. This author just dangles a tiny bit of happiness in front of her characters, only to snatch it away and give them tragedy instead. There had better be a happy ending to the next one, b/c I'm getting fed up with the sad-but-hopeful endings.

I like this one better than the last one. But... Argh, I'm furious with this author! How dare she kill off the characters that I like! I finally get attached and she kills someone! Then again, I have to admit the genius of it; keeping the reader interested, keeping the plot going for the next book. I just hate it. It's making me depressed. Can't wait for the next book!

I'm reading this in Spanish to brush up on my vocab. I'm fluent in Spanish, but I'm beginning to forget it some since I never speak in Spanish anymore. Use it, or lose it! Funny thing, this translation is for Spain Spanish, not Mexican Spanish, and some of the words are a little different. No biggie, but made for some interesting reading.

I only read the first chapter. Warning: This book is about demons. Wish somebody would've told me before I bought it. Urgh. So yeah, I can't read that kind of filth. Why does it say "djinn" or "genie" on the back, when it's really about demons being called up? That's just too disgusting and scary and grotesque to imagine. What is wrong with people?! Why would you write about that for children? This is a wicked, evil world where such books exist, and are actually popular and widespread. One has to be more and more careful of the books one picks up. Makes me sick. This one is going in the TRASH!!!
