Fantastic collection of short story mysteries! Chesterton always surprises me, and there are some phenomenal insights that have really had me scratching my head.
Can't wait to get my hands on more Chesterton books!

Except for the bit with the snake, loved it! I love Peter! I want to murder Harriet and marry him myself. It was fantastic seeing him as a father to three boys. Oh, he's so adorably wonderful! Love love love!!!
The chilling suspense, the fantastic unreal images, and the twisting plot are all flawlessly written. I was a little shell-shocked when it was over. I just sat there, unable to move or blink for a few minutes. I love that unmistakable style of Chesterton's; the philosophical discussions intermingled with the hilarity of a misplaced joke. Mostly I love the characters because I admire their courage so much, and as the story progresses their entire helplessness becomes more and more evident, but they continue on. That's so true of real life.
This is a really original idea, and very well written. I finished it in a couple of hours, and enjoyed it immensely! The characters are lots of fun and I like the writing style. The plot moves along, and the whole concept is just fascinating. Wonderful book!
Fascinating story and marvelous characters! Loved it all through, (although some people may have thought it boring and drawn-out.) Even better on the second reading.
I love stories with dragons in them! I liked the People of the Sea especially. What a fabulous story! This author tends to end rather abruptly though. I like a little more info about the ending and more of a wrapping up than she gives.
