I tried to read this for a book club and could not get into it. So I tried to listen to it as an audiobook hoping that I would get into it that way. I was 2 hours in and listening while at the gym and I had no clue what was going on. So not going to finish this one.

It was very slow moving for me. At almost 1/2 way I was skimming and just not enjoying myself.

I just don’t think I am on a witchy vibe trope and that’s okay. I was hooked at first and then just got bored. 

There just isn’t depth to the characters and it annoyed me. 

It was very slow and the plot was not enjoyable for me. 

It was very chaotic storytelling and I could not stay engaged.

I am sure it is a good book. There were parts I was enjoying, but I am not interested in the hiking aspect. I tried to skip them but then figured why bother?!
