Is it just me or were all the characters insufferable in this book? 

I loved the first part of this book, the first two main characters, Agnes and Ignes, but their story ending just as their life was beginning and frankly I did not care about any of the following characters. 
I love the idea of this book, and it was written well, but it was basically 4 short stories instead of a cohesive book. I would love the full book of Agnes and Ignes though.

Enjoyable robin hood retelling/sequel of sorts

Not sure how to rate this book really, I really enjoyed most of the plot, but honestly the spicy parts felt like a completely different book to me. I think I would have enjoyed this more as fade to black, which I'm shocked by! 

Today I learned that the movie was based on a book!
